Collab Brindabella has been shortlisted as a finalist in the 2026 Master Builders and Asset Construction Hire Excellence Awards, recognising the quality, complexity, and collaborative delivery of the workplace fitout at Canberra Airport.

Spanning two levels within Brindabella Business Park, Collab Brindabella was designed to offer a flexible, premium coworking space in Canberra. It brings together 186 work points, premium amenities, dedicated event spaces, and a sculptural interconnecting staircase that has become a defining feature of the building. Our space also boasts professional meeting rooms and a podcast studio with thoughtfully designed shared areas, giving members room to focus, collaborate, and host without needing to leave the building.

The project has been named a finalist in the Commercial or Retail Fitout, Refurbishment or Alteration ($2.5 Million to $5 Million) category, placing Collab Brindabella among a select group of commercial projects acknowledged for excellence in construction, fitout, and workplace delivery.

The fitout was delivered by Blackett Commercial for Canberra Airport Group, in collaboration with the Flex team and JLL Design. This nomination reflects the strength of the partnership, with each contributor shaping a workplace that supports connection, productivity, and a more elevated day-to-day experience for members.

The project’s recognition by the Master Builders ACT judging panel is a proud moment for everyone involved, and a testament to the care, coordination, and expertise behind its delivery.
